EbM.J. “Nimblewill Nomad” Eberhart, author. When I first met Eb in 1998, he was on his first post-retirement adventure, a walk from Key West to Cape Gaspe, Quebec. Since then, he’s become a renowned long distance hiker and author, inspiring others to the simple life you can find in the outdoors.

In this interview, we talk about the simplicity and clarity of hiking, the unexpected natural wonders and personal experiences we have outdoors, and hiking as a spiritual experience. Eb relates stories from the trail and some of his inspirational poetry. We recorded this during his overnight stay in Paradise, MI, during his thru-hike of the North Country Trail.
